Why would they check your account?So you are working as a contractor and not employee?

No I am a international student, In the past I have worked cash job but they paid in my bank account without updating my my SIN.

So that is part of your 24 hours per week. So are you working under the table. When you file your taxes then claim the work as you didn't pay tax etc.

Not really, I have worked two places for a while, one place i have worked 20 hrs per week with SIN updated. Another place without SIN they said it's cash but they paid me in bank account. I am just worried about, when I am gonna apply for PGWP will they check my bank account?

IRCC can ask for bank records at any point

So you are working more than 24 hours per week and working under the table too. CRA and IRCC can ask for any statements at any time.
