I assume this question is coming from a state of anxiety. Yes, they can issue a PFL after visible CoPR number, portal/RFV/PPR OR even before eCoPR was issued or before you even land - that's a bit rare, but we've have only seen that coming in from people who have faked documents, were trying to...

RFV is manually triggered by your case processing agent. FD is just a workflow glitch that isn't supposed to even show up. It is a broken workflow. FD doesn't mean "approved" all the time - if you file GCMS/CBSA notes, you often see that the FD date usually correlates with "needs a final review...

It isn't FIFO, so that logic wouldn't work. There's a SLA of 6 months they try to honor, but the variance in individual applicant's complexity changes how you will get processed. The expectation of FDs/PPR/RFVs/Portal/etc should be based on where your individual application is in the context of...

    FSW Proof of Funds Exemption

Ah! Your agency messed up in providing wrong info to you. I'd assume that the exemption is unlikely, simply because you don't meet the criteria for exemption. But, if you get another ITA again, you're game! You need to revisit whether you should work with this agency for the future or not. Most...

    FSW Proof of Funds Exemption

IRCC generally invites you for CEC under even if you have 10 months of Canadian experience, assuming that you'll meet the 12 months before submitting your application. Are you sure that you weren't invited under CEC? Was it for sure FSW?

    FSW Proof of Funds Exemption

Ask them(the agency) about what they think of that line I quoted. Is matching PoF not an option for you? You might be out of luck here.

PNP NonEE and EE CEC simultaneously?

Besides spending on two different applications, there isn't any drawback here for you beyond expenses/timing for documentation. If you get approval from anyone of the line, withdraw your other application. Applications can also get refused/cancelled - so, if you want to do two and aren't...

    FSW Proof of Funds Exemption

    >are currently working for the employer specified on the work permit ^^ I'd think more about this line. Looks like, you aren't. Your WP isn't tied to the employer.

I think I documented a few things like my own journey for getting a mortgage post landing. If I get time this week, I can certain create a master post for post-landing settlement for outland folks. Thanks for the idea!

That has always been the case if you go back and check the AOR threads. I used to post this in each AOR thread a year ago: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/july-2024-aor.851220/#post-10874647 Some FAQs that most should know - I haven't updated it from a...

Edit: Just saw you got PPR :D Old text: ------ Not everyone will get a RFV, you can also expect a PPR letter which only shows up in GCKey with the notification email. When you get RFV, you get nothing in GCKey. Keep that in mind. -------

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

If they include fraud PRs who later became citizens, I'm afraid, the number is in hundreds of thousands and that'll be a backlog of a decade for removal :D

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

100%! Given that PRs from economic streams have been bringing in far far higher revenue to Canada, it would be anything but logical to cancel PR status without criminality or failure to meet RO. I remember the data from 2022 where PRs on an avg earned $30k/yr more than citizens (lots of factors...

Traveling outside Canada while waiting for P2

I'm not sure what's there to worry about here. The only reason we inform IRCC is when there's a considerable travel duration/change of nation as that materially impacts the application. If you can be back in time to respond to P2, nothing to worry here. As you said, the travel is just of a few days.

    Seeking Guidance: Foreign work experience

Lots and lots of people previously went through EE with no issues with this misrep. Now, we don't know what they'll do. They do take misrep a bit more seriously now for sure. Talk to a lawyer. No one, but, IRCC will decide what happens there.

Traveling outside Canada while waiting for P2

You can travel. When you get P2, you get time to respond, sometimes it is 3, sometimes it is 7 days or more. Even if they give you a single day, coming back in a day isn't too hard from the US. What's there to worry? It makes no sense to inform IRCC as your travel is only of a few days, not even...

With some flows, even that has happened. There are multiple flows, and (some) broken flows.

We've seen people with background check/eligibility in progress way before BIL too. Not how it is supposed to be, but IRCC has tens of different workflows.

What do you mean? Are you saying that BG and eligibility speeds up after BIL?
