    Based on what they specified no I think he applied for spousal sponsorship with H&C consideration. These are 2 very distinct pathways. One that is only H&C while other falls under family sponsorship.

    Pretty unlikely to be granted because you have minimal ties to your home country and would permanently close pathways to Canadian citizenship and PR for most so incredibly risky unless you are happy to return to your home country.
