Proof of fund for the study permit

Many schools do ask for a deposit to prevent students from applying to multiple schools and withdrawing before school starts. It limits applicants to those who are serious about attending the school/program and allows for better planning. After a certain point the seat will likely go unfilled...

    Protected Person Study permit

Typically tution is either listed by year or per semester. I would also specify the length of the program in the LOA.

    PSW PROGRAMS

You should also take into consideration that a very large number of people are now attending PSW or other healthcare aide programs. What once used to be an easy pathway to PR has gotten much more difficult.

    Protected Person Study permit

Typically protected people qualify for domestic tuition rates. The LOA should indicate what you will actually be paying. Not sure why only 2 semesters would be domestic fees unless the program is only 2 semesters.

Likelihood of getting nomination through OINP - Human Capital Stream

The days of hoping for the best are over for now. You need to be much more strategic to maximize your chances or it will be very difficult to get PR for most.

Proof of fund for the study permit

What program and school? What is your education background? Work history? Country of origin? When and how did your brother obtain citizenship?

    PR card recalled and seized?

How did you obtain PR and what is your immigration history in Canada? When did you start working in the US?

    AIP Endorsement application processing time.

The quotas are incredibly small and there is a huge focus on certain NOCs so much harder to get these days and processing will be longer.

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2024

Remember that you are only seeing a very small number of cases on this forum and processing time is close to 3 years based on IRCC.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Based on what they specified no I think he applied for spousal sponsorship with H&C consideration. These are 2 very distinct pathways. One that is only H&C while other falls under family sponsorship.

USA Visa: Using my refugee travel document

Pretty unlikely to be granted because you have minimal ties to your home country and would permanently close pathways to Canadian citizenship and PR for most so incredibly risky unless you are happy to return to your home country.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Not sure the specifics of your case but it is possible to apply for family sponsorship with H&C considerations which appears to have happened in this case. Applying for H&C is also an option but does not appear to have happened in this case.

Help! Minor Accompanying Parent with Study Permit

Have you even applied to a school or received PAL? Determining if you have been accepted into a program would be the first step. For programs like a masters of PhD they may only accept application at a certain period of the year so that can also influence processing times. What exactly are you...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

You are posting under the wrong thread then based on what I think you are describing. Just to clarify you did not fill out an H&C application but applied for spousal sponsorship while asking to be considered based on your specific circumstances. Your application isn’t considered an H&C...

Permanent Residence pathway for Colombian, Haitian and Venezuelan nationals

In general processing times are very slow because there have been cuts to H&C yearly quotas and the quotas are very small so may have very little to do with processing times of the 3rd party.

Canadian Citizen living and working abroad - needing a spouse visa for my wife

As long as you have concrete proof that you will be resettling in Canada that should be fine. Given it has been a very long time since you have lived in Canada it would be easier if you did secure a job in Canada or even relocated during processing. For example as a teacher I assume there is a...

When did your parent pass away? Do you have any siblings?

    March 2025 Super visa application

LICO is based on income earned in Canada not salary. IRCC typically wants to see NOA although pay stubs are listed as available proof I believe. We have even seen T4s being denied because T4 doesn’t provide full picture of income earned. In general this also ensures that parents can’t visit on...

    Visitor visa reapplying

Would suggest ordering GCMS notes and addressing each reason for mentioned for refusal. You want to submit the best application possible to give you the best chance of TRV approval for your second attempt although your timeline is quite tight especially for certain locations. Do not buy any...
