So sorry for late reply. Yes I got it yesterday. Submission was on Sept 21st. I sent the certificate to my officer and he said he's sending file for final review. How long is final review taking now?

Decision made takes 10 business then copr
Pr card takes 1 up to 4 months process

the max average process but see members got it in very soon too every thing all the way to Pr card in 2 months

Today I got an email asking for police certificate from USA but I was there for 5 months only…

I sent them the specific dates that I went and left.

any idea how long could take for an answer?!

you need to do fbi background it takes 6 hours then you can submit one of members has same issues like you Niagara Falls requested fbi background checks it’s expensive about $170 I’m guessing

Thanks for this response and clarification. So what it means is that I won’t be contacted for biometric as I did one in 2015.

your biometric is good up to 2025 you don’t need biometric yes you get aor or if you see
Number with H00 it’s means they already send you aor to your lawyer

For those who are still waiting for AOR: we just got an AOR. Application delivered on 9 Sep 2021. Also got biometric request.

online status tracking does not work. Does it get activated after a few days of AOR?

you need used your uci number on ecas it should work if you have aor you must see it on ecas

Usually shortly after AOR. Sometimes ECAS gets activated only after file goes in process. In very rare cases, file never gets added to ecas. For all of my partner's 3 HCs, ECAS never worked.

You’re right. Mine was activated after AOR and it had Application Received. It was that way till around 6 months before it changed to In Process.

Hi just to add to this, I did not have a work permit and hadn't worked for almost a year. I had money saved up and luckily I was able to live with family. I showed them my savings and explained why I wasn't working all the supports I have been receiving. I hope this helps.

So, even if income is low it will not affect the stage 2? And do I need to send the payment stubs only or also the bank statment and GST/HST assesment?

Hello @Ayanna do you have an idea about the processing time of the application after the ECAS system changes from application received to in process ? ( the time nedded to receive the decision after the change on ecas )
my application still received on ecas and according to phone line updates they check eligibility and background
any idea @Katayoon ?

Could range from a few weeks to about a year. Depends on the case and the case officer. You should probably bank 3-6 months for Stage 1 and another 3-6 months for Stage 2, presuming everything goes smooth.

Did you email a specific agent like putting AB0000 in subject line? If yes, you will get response fast (few business days).

Usually took us around 30 days to get answer from Niagara. IRCC reserves the right to request additional documents, so even though you lived less than 6 months there, they may have decided that they still want to see it. Is it too hard to order US police certificate? I would just try to give them what they want to avoid delays, if you have not heard from them soon that it was a mistake.

i will do it… better than waiting and delaying my process more and more!!

Yes we did the same - we got email in August from agent that she is still waiting for police certificate. However, we had already sent it in May. So we just resent it again without any questions or comments, and next day we got email from her that file was transferred for final review.
So good news is that you are almost at the end.
