Hello, I have applied for pgwp on 10th October. I am worried because i was part time in my fourth semester. I asked my program co- ordinator to provide me a explanation letter but she refused. Is anybody have same circumstance?

I didn’t get my co-op workpermit on time, so my professor asked me to withdraw the course that was prerequisite for full blck placement. So in my 3 rd semester i withdraw that course and took that course in fourth semester which was officially my last semester. But as mu full block placement was remain that was supposed to do during 4 th semester. I have too do it after 4 th semester.

No there was no courses to take with placement as only placement was remain.
No, it will not affect anything then. I was also part time in my final semester and my placement was in progress status on my transcript when I applied, still got approved

Hi ! maybe you can help me.... basically everybody says if you applied for the PGWP.... while you're in process you shouldn't leave the country because you loose your implied status..... are you sure someone could leave?
Yes you can leave. What status you get when you come back depends see here.

When you return to Canada:

  • You may enter as a student if your study permit is still valid.
  • If we approved your post-graduation work permit while you were away, you may enter as a worker.
  • If we are still processing your post-graduation work permit, you may enter as a visitor, and you can work without a work permit until we make a decision on your application.
  • You can also re-apply for a new work permit, and pay the fees, at the port of entry if you meet all other applicable entry requirements. Once you are in Canada, you can use this web form to withdraw your previous application.
