@ms_tauruss yeah I know the feeling of waiting for that email. You raise a webform asking on your status even if over the phone they've told you approved. Just maybe it might move them to send you the ppr or landing interview. The agent that told me I was approved said I wasn't going to receive the interview or ppr till second week of October. So it's possible now your approved they might have a date they want to send that email.

The interview was very straightforward. I didn't get anything in my email except a letter saying the date, time, location. It also asked for 2 passport ( one had to be stamped and dated at the back by the studio that takes it), and proof of RFP payment. I did the landing in Ottawa. I waited 30 mins for my turn. When they called me they asked me for my passport and the two passport photograph. Then she asked if I had dependent (no) and if I've committed any crime or been denied entry to Canada before (no). Then she asked the date of my last entry to Canada at which border out airport. She stamped my passport with a date, printed the COPR asked me to sign and gave me a copy. I'm traveling in December so I asked her if the PR card can be expedited and she said she'll try to do that as PR cards are processed in Sydney VO. Overall it took less than 20 minutes and it was a very casual process. I hope you hear back soon. Goodnight!!
Thank y so much for your reply. I will try raising a webform just as you've suggested, hopefully that should trigger the interview email. Congrats once again

You're welcome. I hope it really triggers it. I really don't get the whole being approved and having to wait almost a month to get that email. And this is a long weekend which means alot of people won't go to work today. They'll just take Friday off and some might take it till Tuesday.

I ordered my GCMS notes on Sep 11 and I got it today. I found out that they moved my application from Montreal to Vancouver (on Sep 6). I am thinking, the reason why I got my GCMS notes in the first place is that it's out of Montreal office. I have heard a lot of people here haven't got their GCMS notes as well. However, my notes say that

Medicals: Passed
Eligibility: Not Started:
Security: Not Started
Criminality:In Progress
Info Sharing Complete: Completed.

I am not sure what that entails, but I do feel like that is not a whole lot of stuff considering its been 5 1/2 months.

My file got transferred from Montreal to Vancouver on May 5th. They reviewed my file on 25th June, almost 2 months after the transfer (not bad). Officer wasn't satisfied with my employment history, so it's under review.
If your file is all complete and the officer who opens your file is satisfied with the documents, you might hear from them soon. If it goes under RR, from my experience it's gonna be a long wait.

Hello lovely patient people,

I just called CIC to know the status of my application.

Agent wasnt of much help!

Said the file is not under review but in que for review by an officer however the decision might take upto 15th Feb, 2020 and also as I have requested for a fresh GCMS notes on 1st October, 2019 so it might get out of the que as they will print the notes first and then it will again go back in que which will further delay the decision!

Not sure how right was she or was she just scaring me so that we dont call often and order notes!

Now only God can take care of this!

I wish speedy PPR for everyone!

Dear friends,

Have a quick question. I am claiming 50 points for a job offer in my PR application. When I submitted the PR application, the job offer didn't say it is permanent or valid for one year. I submitted with LOE along with a supporting document (The letter that was used to get my work permit) which said I will be working for 2 years.

Now I have already moved to Canada and working here for 3 months and my PR application is currently pending. Recently I got a letter from my employer stating that it is permanent, full time and valid for one year after PR.

I haven't received any ADR, But can I voluntarily submit the letter along with my paystubs to support my case? If so, how can I submit?

The agent was not right. Even on IRCC’s twitter, they say that GMCS notes do not delay your file. Praying that when the officer pick your file, he will make a golden decision on it.

Hello Sid - Thanks for your input. When you say review required ; can you let me know what was their query and how was your employment like and what is it that they want from you? Just curious.

Hi,

My application is being processed in Montreal, here is my status if it helps anyone

Stream - FSW Outland
AOR - March 18th 2019
MEP - May 2nd 2019
Biometrics Submitted - May 20th 2019

Eligibility - Under Review - (Recommend Pass as of Aug 1st 2019, waiting for senior officer to review as per IRCC agent on phone as of Oct 2nd 2019)
Criminality - Passed
Background - We are processing your background check.
6th month deadline - Sep 18th 2019
GCMS ordered - Oct 4th 2019

No Ghost updates, hoping for good news soon...The trend looks like Montreal takes 8-12 months to process applications.

Any one in the same boat as recommend passed? How long will it take for a senior officer to review? Any inputs are appreciated

I have no clue why IRCC doesn't take any action against the idiots who represent it for spreading lies and distorting truth. GCMS notes have no relation whatsoever with file approval. And they don't really take file out of queue to print GCMS notes. I'm appalled that these agents just say these things.

I agree with you on this. GCMS has to do nothing with the decision on file. These agents just spread the lies so we dont call and ask for an update. I just hope the calls are recorded and they get pinalised for playing with peoples emotions. I wish that everyone who is waiting for more than 6 months gets PPR.

2nd GCMS notes: Nothing news except file transferred to Montreal on May 2
3rd GCMS notes : Eligibility started on July 18 by case analyst RR for stat questions
4GCMS notes : Nothing news on it expect address change
GCMS notes ordered October 5
Ghost update: October 11
Called IRCC on October 11: Agent said All assessments are passed
Called today and asked if a decision has been made on the application: Agent said Officer notes said that they are looking to approve the application. Agent said you will receive a notification in your account soon.
@cansha what does agent mean by “they are looking to approve the application” how long it takes to receive PPR from Montreal after “all assessments passed”?
