Prior to the Easter holidays and election day in Alberta, file #s were issued within a day or two. That has since gone up to between 10 and 20 days for most.

Hello everybody!

We’ ve got file number on 29/03/2019 and still waiting for nomination. But as per statistics here a lot of guys got nomination in one month, even less. Could you please tell me if someone received nomination more than in one month or more? Just we want to understand till what time we have to wait...

Hello all! I am here with a situation. Seniors or anyone else pls give ur piece of thought. I received NOI from Alberta on 2nd april. I did a spouse name update in my passport to get the passport for my kid. I submitted the copies of new passport (bearing new passport number) to AINP. i updated the new passport number in EE profile.

Now could you please tell me whether this change of passport number in my EE profile after NOI may lead to cancellation of my NOI?

Application for AOS received March 29.
Got file number April 2.
NOC code 7271.
Work permit expires August 1.
No word from AINP yet.

Anyone think there's a chance?

Hi Guys ,

Just need to check if someone has received the file number or so after 12th April. As my documents were reached Alberta office on 18th April ( as mentioned in the tracking) but still no acknowledgement and i have not received any file number yet.

How many days they take to give the File number.

Does anyone help me in giving the reply.

They are giving file numbers for those who delivered on 16 or 17 Apr...u’ll be getting urs soon...dnt wry...it is taking near 20-25 days for file numbers
