Does the test have many history dates and person names question ? Like when and who questions?

There are all kinds of questions in the test. Could be anything really. Names, dates...
Note: Generally, the options to choose from are not crazy close. For example, when they ask you "What year was confederation", the options would NOT be "1865 or 1866 or 1867 or 1868". Instead, the options would be something like "1793 or 1867 or 1931 or 1982".

I have applied on 12 October 2017, till 10 days ago I got my FP request.
Now my PR Card is expiring next month,
1/ Should I apply for renewal my PR Card? or hope that they will send me the writing test this month????
2/ How long usually its take to get the test invitation after FP? especially for people who passed the processing time period "12 month"
Sent on 12/11/2017, delivered on 21/11/2017

1) do you need to travel ? If yes you needn pr card to come back . Don’t speculate on how much month you have left in your process because there is no answer
2) was in a similar situation . Got asked for FP after 10 months in process .
Took the FP the very same day I received the letter
The company I chose had no choice but to send results to my home adress And then I would have send results to immigration office near my home
So to answer your question
FP appontement : same day as letter
Results : 2 days
Grc letter to my home : 10 days
My home to ircc: 1 day with aor
Test invite : 2 weeks later
Test day: 2 weeks later
So a month and a half in my case

Yes, I need to travel, so I will apply for a new PR.
Do you think if I take a lawyer to contact the IRCC, is that would speed up the process since my application been on this for almost 20 months now ???

Yes - your Pr request could be treated urgently as you ve been in process for 20 months . I mean that could be a valid reason for urgent processing
I dt think a lawyer would help in your case but maybe it would . I’m not too sure
I would send first message thru the web form and then use help from your rep in your district . Especially if he or her is liberal
Why in country like Canada. They process files more then year.from what I know every year millions of immigrants come to Canada. So why they don't build new offices to process applications faster.!!! that's crazy we are waiting more then one year for a test invite ???
