For my experience calgary is pretty fast. I send my application on November 2017 and I got my Oath taking on May 2018. 6months processing all in all. Good luck to all of you guys...

thanks AINP for sharing the information. However, They received my application on 9 March and still not in ‘in process’ too. I think process time is longer this year.

Hi,
I have a question,
I sublitted my application in March, it was received on April12 and it is updated on ecas showing application received. It is not yet changed to "in process"
My question is, i am moving to a new adrress in a week ( same city), can i change my address while its still in "received status"? Or is it better to update address only after it changes to "in processe"?. I am confused :(

If i am you, i would have change the address. Because, if they send you any letter, it could be missed. Ther is “update home address” option, you can change from there very easily.

Hello, I am new to this blog. My application was delivered on March 13 and Recieved AOR on April 4th. How long it will usually takes to be invited for exam. I have the feeling my case is slow as seems many applications status changed to in process but mine not.

Hi everybody,

I don't know where exactly to post this. I want to be added to the spreadsheet as a March applicant and I also have a question that I don't know where to post and have it addressed. I'm brand new here and am not familiar with the rules of the game, so I posted the same message in different threads that I thought might be closer to my situation not knowing that that wasn't allowed. Someone or something deleted my posts. Please, tell me where to post my concern. Don't just delete it. Have a heart!

App Type: Single
Physical Presence: 1097 days
App Sent: March 17, 2018
App Received: March 22, 2018
AOR: April 6, 2018
IP: June 13, 2018

Now today I received a very upsetting letter dated June 18, 2018 entitled "delayed application", and it reads: "The purpose of this letter is to advise you that a preliminary review of your application has been completed. Your file has now been referred to our Program Support Unit for a final review. This review will result in an additional delay. However, we will endeavour to finalize your application as soon as possible. You will be contacted if additional information or documents are required to complete your file."

Within 5 days of starting to process my application, they sent it to this Program Support Unit. I have no idea what this means or the reason why. I am dealing with a lot of fear right now with regards to this. I went through a lot of problems in becoming a permanent resident under the humanitarian and compassion category but eventually it worked out.

Does anyone know what this all mean?
Could they even go back and revoke my permanent residency?

Please, some input! I'm really scared.
