When you call CIC, can they at least told you if the background and taxes checks have been done or is it useless to call for those informations? I don't want to spend 4 hours on the phone for nothing.

If there is nothing wrong in the case, do you know why they are waiting to send a test invitation to people? Do they have to wait for a certain number of person?

Thanks

I took the advice and I called the CIC asking whats wrong??
During the review of my contact details I discovered that they have registered my email wrong (they typed a dash instead of an underscore) and the agent requested that I should fill an online form and send it back and it will take 5 to 10 business days for correction. So I will contact them next week to confirm
good for you.. atleast now you know the problem ..

When I called to check if my fingerprints had been received, the agent told be my background checks were "complete". Of course, I'm still waiting for the test invite... I am assuming the delay in my case is the reconciliation of the 4.5 pages of data submitted for the physical presence calculator (I travel a lot for work). There should be no issues, as I have been living in Canada since 2003, but I'm sure it takes time to check.

Hey members,

I have a question regarding my passports translated stamps, So I've included copies of both of passports (current & expired) with translated stamps for every non english/french stamp as part of my application.
Do I need to translate another copy to bring with me to the test or the one included in the application is sufficient ( I have one extra non-english/french stamp since I submitted the application)

Many thanks,

I had the same experience, when i called CIC regarding my FP checking status, the agent was not able to tell me whether they received my FP, saying she can not see the details. however, she said that she can see the FP check status is complete, thus assume that everything is okay.

Hi Guys,
Which number are you calling the CIC at?

Whenever i call, an automated voice message says that " we are not accepting calls regarding the status of Citizenship Application" I've tried many times.
Im in Toronto.
