R u waiting for AINP nomination

Well Fingers crossed, if I get it ill let you guys know.

Generally guys who have applied with me already got their and their work permit expires in 2017 as well.
I believe they are sticking to the time line they gave me last year that was 14 months. But atleast someone is looking at my application.
On the other hand all my friend who got it, they have same procedure, they receive a call from rep and then after 1/2 weeks they receive their nomination.
Rest God Knows.

Did anybody receive confirmation email prior to receiving the file number. I sent my application via express mail on June 23 and was received on June 24 with signature of the recipient. Didn't get any confirmation email until now. Any idea?

The AINP does not send an acknowledgement of receipt email or letter. The only confirmation that may be sent will be the letter or email that will include your file number if your application is accepted for processing.
The AINP will confirm either by a letter or email that your application has been received. The letter or email will also include your file number.
It may take up to two months to receive your letter or email. blah blah blah.
That's really weird some people got two emails some got one, did they change the receiving method or what?

Hi I got AINP Nomination this week , I applied under post graduate category last august 2014. Its took ONLY 11 months, My FRINDS ALSO GOT THEIR NOMINATION SAME AS ME. wE ARE WORKING UNDER NOC LEVEL B . So my question is that I need to apply for work permit extension , so do I need to wait until I got my pr file number or need to apply now..... which one is better to get a open work permit rather than closed. In my nomination written that NO restriction of employment. Please some one clear my doubt . Thank you
