don't worry, you would get it soon, btw what is your timeline, the time will vary in different cases. Someone get in Decision Made one week after In Process, my case that took one month, including update of additional documents.

Hi everyone,

My journey has finally reached its end! I did my landing today at the Highgate Springs / St. Armand border crossing. The process was very fast and smooth. It took less than 10 minutes.

This is the timeline of the last phase:
PPR: Evening of Friday July 3.
Passport deposited at Canada Post: Saturday, July 4.
Passport shipped from Montreal: Monday, July 6.
Passport received at CIC: Tuesday, July 7
Visa issued: Wednesday, July 08
Passport sent from CIC: Tuesday July 14
Passport delivered to my house: Wednesday July 15
Landing: Saturday, July 18

At the border, the agent asked for COPR (both copies) and he had a look at the CSQ then gave it back to me. I asked him if he wants the photocopies of my old study permits, he asked me if I have the original ones, I told him that one of them was taken once by a border agent, and that the other one I dont have it, so he told me okay, and took the photocopies then proceeded to remove my work permit off my passport and he scratched all my Canadian visas.

Then he asked me if any of my conditions changed since receiving the COPR, so I told him no, so he asked specifically if I am still single or got married, told him still single. Then he asked me if I have a job, I told him yes so he asked me what my job was so I replied with the position and the company name. I guess that's why he didn't ask about my bank account or whether I have a certain amount of money (since he now knew that I have a job). Then he asked me to read the COPR and make sure all the details are okay, so I did. Then asked me to sign my initials under the sentence that states that I declare that I have committed no crimes. I did. Then he asked to sign both COPR copies and he did the same. He then congratulated on becoming PR.

Next, he asked me if I knew my obligations as PR. I told him I know that I need to stay 2 out of 5 years to maintain my PR status, and 4 out of 6 for citizenship. He told me yes and added that, in each of these 4 years, I need to stay at least 6 months. So I told him I'm also aware of that. He then told me that I need to change my SIN and health card. And then told me that his colleague will now continue with me. The lady asked me if I have any goods to ship from my home country, so I told her no, so she asked me to sign a paper to confirm that. And then she congratulated me in her turn on becoming permanent resident of Canada. I thanked her and left! :D

I wanna thank everyone for their help and support. You guys were really helpful and made it easier. I hope you all get your PPRs very soon! :)

All the best! :) :)

Congrats, Jad! One question though...why did you pick St.-Armand and not Lacolle? Is it less busy?

Thanks Marlee! :)
Good observation! The only reason I chose to go to that crossing is because I decided to do a day trip to Burlington, Vermont before doing my landing. So the closest border crossing to there is St. Armand according to GPS. So we went through it on our way from Montreal to Burlington, and on our way back. I did my landing around 8.30 pm. So it was already relatively late in the day and thus was not busy at all. I came in, and there was an agent directly available to help me. I'm not sure how in general the two crossings compare in terms of waiting times.
