• Eligibility letter : December 17, 2024
• Medical : Completed (expired)
• Biometric request: July,06 2026
• Biometric Submitted : July,08 2026
• Info Sharing : changed to completed end of July 2026 for me and my spouse
• Criminality : completed on July 2026
• Security : completed for my wife in 3 days during August.
• My security was sent to comprehensive background check CBSA on Aug 17 2026

It is really frustrating and I’m really stressed out. I don’t have any military service and they didn’t ask for any additional forms. Me and my wife from the same country.

What I should do?

So, how did you get exempt from military service did you buy your exemption or was it for medical reasons

Hey my friend I have same problem my security was sent in AUG 20 comp and I applied for PR in 2023 APRIL it’s so stressful finding out about this when we already waited for years to get to this point

What I should do?

It seems a bit late to submit it for comprehensive security clearance. If it had been initiated when the application was first filed, it would have been completed by now.

A standard one is quick these days; a compherensive one takes longer, but since it's a one-time initiative, even that shouldn't take as long as it used to.

What I should do?

There are a few things I am wondering about. I am trying to understand the logic behind this irrational decision.

Does your application file contain sufficient identification documents to verify your identity?
Do you have a history of military or government service?
Which country are you from?
Did you arrive in Canada via crossed border? Did you experience similar delays during the asylum process?

and I hope your process is completed quickly.
