Background : Complete. Does this mean they don't need an up to date police certificate anymore because the background check has been Completed ? I have provided an older one, the one I had. Wondering if they used that or should I still provide one ?

I have not yet received any request for fingerprints or test invite. Can someone help me understand if its random or is there a certain number of days we need to wait for the fingerprints or test request?

Not everybody gets fingerprint request. I would say it is not part of normal or regular process. As far as I have read, It is random in some cases for process audit/quality purposes and for some cases like mine - when you have a very common name, they ask for fingerprints to ensure that you are not in their naughty list

Uff, this is not meant to be. I submitted first application in March, they returned it because the photo was not meeting requirements (no clue what happened) in May. Got an email today, saying information is missing again.

This time the application fee has gone up by $3.25 so they returned it for a second time. I’m back to day one

Got an email to send PCC...but when I checked tracker it says backgroung check completed.

ah so they can request it if they think they need a new one, I like this better because otherwise i'll be wondering if my application's review is stuck because of the expired police certificate; Thanks!

Today I got a mail stating my application was created on August 19 and that I can now follow my progress on the tracker. I didn’t receive any AOR email, I have checked my junk and messages and nothing.

I called IRCC and they gave me my application number, yet I still can’t create an account on the tracker. Has anyone faced something similar?

Yes. I called IRCC today because I received my AOR last Aug 18 and tracker email today but cannot register. They told me my bg is completed last week aug 21 and test invite email should arrive soon they told me that my test window will be aug 28 to sep 7
