Pr renewal status

Hi
I submitted my pr card renewal application online on May 12 2026 portal shows status as submitted
My days of stay in Canada are 744 since Aug 8 2021 the day I landed till may 11 2026
for the sons religious education I had to leave to Middle East
When will I get an update about my application or receive pr card
Can anyone help me about how to track my application

Are you outside Canada? Did you apply for PR card renewal while you were in Canada? You were very close to your RO and you must continue to meet your RO. If you are out of Canada would you still meet RO today? You will be required to come collect your card in person if potentially approved but whether you remain compliant with your RO compliance will be reexamined to see if you remain compliant on that day.

Am inside Canada and applied while in Canada as per 730days RO I completed that infact on day I submitted it was 744 days

It has only been a month this actually could still be normal processing. All you can is wait. The card appears in your mailbox at one point if normal processing.

So you mean will it take more time or will my pr be cancelled very tensed about it
My card is about to expire on sep 8 2026

You can live in Canada without a valid PR card. Impossible to predict if your application will take longer/
