2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

I applied for PR protected person March 2025 and just today l received a document request letter, mainly to do with updating my address and employment there is also a request for police clearance, but l already submitted them when l applied for refugee.

Is this normal?

Hello, please how did you receive your document request letter? I was informed that a similar request was sent to me, but I have not received anything in my email, GCKey account, or by mail.

Kindly let me know how yours was delivered.

Also, regarding the police clearance, was it requested from your country of citizenship only, or also from any country where you have lived for 6 months or more?

Did they give you a deadline to submit the documents?

Advisable to contact them quickly. I'm experiencing over 16 months delay because the contact email used to send my BIL was missing a letter. Not my error but theirs. All my forms checked out. I eventually got to know because they sent reminders to my spouse after he got FD, sending copies carrying the same incorrect email address. I was waiting in vain for over 16 months.

I noticed something unusual in my GCKey account and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

My medical exam was passed a long time ago, and I remember the “Review of medical results” section used to display a message underneath it. Recently, I noticed that the text under “Review of medical results” has completely disappeared and the section is now blank.

My application is still in process and security screening is ongoing.
Has anyone noticed the same thing in their account? If so, did it mean anything, or was it just a system glitch? Any insights would be appreciated.

On Friday June 3rd, l received 2 additional letters via email, biometrics request and the other letter is asking me to re-submit the generic, family information forms with updated information l changed provinces and my job, any 2025 applicants receiving emails from cic?

In my file i included my adopted child. IRCC recently issued a Procedural Fairness Letter, and I submitted a response to that letter. Approximately five weeks after my response, IRCC issued an application number and a biometrics instruction letter for my child. Could anyone please explain what this means for the application and whether it indicates that the file is moving forward?

For me took few days after the ghost update, I dont remember exactly. Maybe one or two weeks. But you are close for sure. The updating neans they are working on your file. Be prepare, it's coming soon!

Guys it’s normal happened with me as well ,,, when the medical result expires in your file it usually disappears automatically but ircc will reinstate the old result once everything is finalized …

What is going on. I called IRCC . Agnet told me my security not started yet.
