Guys I am just saying don’t believe everything you see here, I saw the same two account chatting in the 2024 PR page about having P1 blah blah, and both accounts came here too. Stay calm as I have seen all 2024 people timelines are going so normal except for these two accounts, all the best!

Edit: btw I saw one of the account posting in the other group that he got P1 in 27Jan, now in this group he is saying that he rcvd it yesterday

We can hear how frustrating this is especially if you’ve personally lost a job offer because of delays. When timelines feel arbitrary or inconsistent (like 2024 applicants moving while 2023 files are stalled), it understandably feels unfair.
* As far as I know files move based on complexity, security screening, background checks, office workload, and quotas.
*A formal demand letter is typically issued by counsel before commencing a mandamus application in Federal Court, highlighting that the 17-month published processing standard has been substantially exceeded and that prior efforts, including engagement with a Member of Parliament, have failed to produce meaningful progress. By clearly signaling imminent judicial intervention, the letter creates tangible legal and cost consequences for continued delay a step that frequently results in IRCC finalizing the application before a court hearing. This approach has proven effective in practice, including in a recent case involving a colleague.

I dont think it hurts to send the " demand formal letter" and from what I have gathered, you dont need a counsel to send that letter, even the applicants can either send it via webfrom as a attached document or mail it to the case proccesing center but its really the last resort because I have sent dozens of webforms and even contacted my MP to no resouluation. and their ridiculous one-time initiative, which apparently was nothing but a show-off; at best, it might be implemented by the end of 2026. honestly its not even acceptable at this point. 30 months is just crazy. At this point, we all have nothing to lose, so sending a demand letter wouldn't hurt. and even filing a Mandamus only costs 50 dollars to file the application in federal court.

Months ago there were fake profiles here, posting nonsense and confusing people. Probably are the same people. Here post something. Go to another thread and post different dates and details, fake. You are right, Dont trust in all what you read.

What is going it’s been three months I have not heard anyone got final decision I’m talking about 2023 applicant. IRCC is not working on protected person files?

I applied in April 2023 . On Feb 3, I applied for GCMS note and received note on Feb 13 . There was no change : Security not started Criminality in process info sharing completed . This is the same as the GCMS note I received in 2024 , Let's see what happens in the next two months , as shown in system .

I understand your point. Im aug 2023 applicant , you are right about the final decisions, nothing after dec 2025 but just letting you know that here are people spreading fake information, maybe just for mocking, dont know. Just be careful what you trust. Not all what they post is true. New members sometimes not real, fake profiles. Trust more when they are old members.

I don’t think it’s fake to be honest my fiend just told me that his fiend received p1 who applied 18 months ago. We should definitely do something. I posted something about petition but nobody has supported me.

It's litereally false information they are spreading. I'm still feb 2024 waiting still, nothing after pre-arrival and eligibility. Even my AOR and pre arrival was quick but still waiting on FD.

I’m sure the claims about final decisions being issued for early 2024 applications are 100% false. Some people just post fake updates in these groups to get attention. Please ignore that noise. My point is about early 2023 applications. It has now been around 33–34 months, while the expected processing time was up to 29 months. We’re well past that, and there haven’t been any new final decisions.
In my opinion, we should use every legitimate channel available — including submitting a large number of webform inquiries — to draw IRCC’s attention and push them to start moving these applications. Otherwise, they can keep delaying indefinitely.

Do you submit pcc with your application ?

You are NOT required to obtain a police certificate from the country you fled. Police certificates from any country Where you lived 6 months or more in a row require to produce.

I applied in June 2023 and received my eligibility in September 2024. Since then, I haven’t received any further updates.
Is there anyone who submitted in June 2023 and has already received their P1?
