I was sent a disclosure package April the 17th and I haven’t heard anything else. Plus what is the disclosure package for?

It could still take more than a year to get a hearing. There is an extremely large backlog of applicants. What did you do for the first 9 months in Canada? What is your home country?

Sorry about missing your child. Stay strong and pray for a positive decision. Then after immediately Get a Refugee Travel Document and go meet your child in another country., However it can be hard to leave them again but its better than not seeing them at all. Otherwise its extremely hard. I, myself have a daughter who was born last year and i have never met her. Its tough but be strong.
