Nothing in May side
In GCMS written you are in queue after priority DO got processed, we will process yours
It sounds everything stopped
Or nobody said anything,, I don’t know
Hope it’s getting better
Hi Nima, where exactly do you see this in GCMS , which part?

I fall in Cat4 - 40 months

Hi, did you order GCMS notes? If yes what the notes say about completed milestones
Hello,

Yes, we received the GCMS notes. According to the notes, eligibility, medical, and criminality have all been passed. Everything is passed for me as well, except for security. For my wife, sons, and daughter, even security is marked as passed.

What's strange is that under the security section, it shows 'Security 1 – passed' and 'Security 2 – in process,' and we still don't know what that means exactly.

What I read about Security 1 and 2 is as below

  • Security 1 – Basic security screening, often done by IRCC itself.
    • Includes checks through internal databases, watch lists, and sometimes low-level CSIS/CBSA checks.
  • Security 2 – Enhanced or in-depth screening, often referred to CBSA or CSIS.
    • Triggered if there are flags, travel to certain countries, affiliations, or unusual immigration
Did you travel to certain countries which raises flags?

I think you shouldn’t worry when all is showing as passed, it’s just matter of some more time

No, I didn't , but I went through a comprehensive security , which is mentioned in GCMS notes.

DO Priority, Annual quota, less head count and manpower, i do believe files will be processed in the following order
1- Prioritized DO inland
2- Prioritized DO outland
3- Non priority inland
4- Non priority outland (I'm in this category - 39 months)
I am in Cat 4, and the way IRCC is treating SUV…soon it will be a forgotten program and processing time will jump to 7-8 years. I wonder how to keep a startup alive for this long remotely.

I believe we should collectively contact Immigration minister and let her know our grievances…

From where can I check about categories?

Bilal, there are two types of Designated Entities or organisations, one which is Priority and the other is non Priority

The organisation which has given you letter of support will be priority or non priority

If you are in Canada, then you are inland, and if outside Canada its Outland

You can check on IRCC website if your DO is Priority or non Priority

Hello GDi and others ,

Till now, and though I have repeatedly tried to figure out how they calculate the time, I couldn't understand how.

quoted "This processing time tells you how long it took us to process most complete applications in the past 6 months.
It includes the time you need to give your biometrics.
Your processing time starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision. It may vary depending on how many applications we get or if your application is complex.
Your application may be delayed or returned if it’s not complete."

To calm ourselves, IRCC may make decisions on many applications during the last week, the majority of them from longstanding applicants , and that's justifying the horrible jump. Do you agree?
