I have a bit of a long shot question: Has any team that submitted a SUV application in 2024 received their AOR yet? Or, for teams who recently got their AOR in 2025, which year did you actually submit your SUV application? I’m just trying to get a sense of where things are at with AOR issuance these days. Any good news to share?

We submitted in April 2024 but no AOR yet, however the work permit was approved in November 2024

No any updates since Dec 2024. I ordered GCMS notes 3 weeks ago. Hope will receive it in a couple of weeks and then will let you know what it is.
Hope IRCC is going to wake up after a long quiet periods

I ordered the GCMS notes for my whole family... until now ~correctly more than 3 weeks ago (since 2nd June) but not got the feedback yet...

Hi Hali,

You're still within the normal processing time for GCMS notes, as they typically take 30-40 days, sometimes a bit longer.

@SUVpr: We got COPR in Nov 2024 and landed in Jan 2025 my friend. It's a long journey from 2020 and always hope every member in this group will get the golden email shortly.

Could someone explain why the Start-Up Visa (SUV) program remains so sluggish? It's been over 4 years for many applicants — far beyond IRCC's stated processing times — with no decisions or updates. What's causing the silence?

DO Priority, Annual quota, less head count and manpower, i do believe files will be processed in the following order
1- Prioritized DO inland
2- Prioritized DO outland
3- Non priority inland
4- Non priority outland (I'm in this category - 39 months)

i recommend all Applicants provide their Category and processing time and we may create tracker for expectation about upcoming applicant who may get feedback - just an idea!

My team falls into category 2 (priority outland), approximately 46 months.
