Did you upload the IMM5707 form in your SOWP application?

I read the instructions on the IRCC website (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/family-sponsorship/spouse-partner-children/spouse-common-law-partner-canada-open-work-permit.html), which stated that it is necessary to upload both the IMM5707 form and the marriage certificate. However, I am unable to locate the upload section in my IRCC GCKey account. There are only upload buttons available for the following documents:
  • IMM 5710 (Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker)
  • Passport
  • Proof of upfront medical exam
  • Digital photo
  • IMM5257 (Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada)
  • Client Information

Do you have any guidance on where to upload the IMM5707 and marriage certificate?
You can combine the IMM5707 form and other required documents into a single PDF and upload it under the Client Information section. This is how I submitted my OWP application. Please check this YouTube video for more details on the OWP application.
Good Luck!

Hello everyone,

Submitted - 14th Jan
AOR - 3rd Feb

My question is I did not received biometric request yet but when I linked my application with GC key it is showing my previous biometric information which I gave at the time of my study permit. Does this means my IRCC accepted my old biometrics ? or I will still be getting request for new biometrics. I am curious because the information on cic page shows "you still need to give biometrics for PR if previously gave for temporary residence and are still valid".
Just wait to see if they ask you to submit the biometrics again. The Government of Canada says anyone applying for permanent residence will need to give their biometrics and pay the fee regardless of whether they have provided biometrics in the past. So we just have to wait and see.

Thank you for your reply, Also wondering if you received any updates after AOR since your are one of the January's earliest applicant.

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know the validity of the OWP? Is it for a standard period of time or depends from case to case? I have heard it is valid for atleast 2 years, giving IRCC sufficient time to process the sponsorship application.

It will be one month already, do you think that it is a problem with the application or the processing time became slower?

Thank you!

Hello, did you used your medical from previous application? I have also used medical from my student application but haven't received any updates in medical document section in tracker, it just says "We received proof of immigration medical exam you sent us".

I used the same medical exam that I used during applying for PGWP.
