You need to give your biometrics once every 10 years. You don’t need to give your biometrics again until the 10-year period expires.

If you gave biometrics in the past as part of an application for a visitor visa, work or study permit and they’re still valid, you don’t need to give them again.

Find out if your biometrics are still valid and when they expire by using the Check status tool.
I would suggest you to give again as to avoid any delays and complications. It doesn’t take too long.
Thank you very much Miss bee. I will book appointment rght now.

Hi Miss bee, Need your help here. I received AOR today but it came with Biometric instruction letter. I have already did my biometrics before which it said is valid for 10 years. After I linked my application to PR portal it shows biometrics details on the application. Do I still have to go for new biometrics as well.

My PR application (non-express entry via SINP) was returned because of the missing documents, and now all my docs show incomplete in the non-express entry portal. My questions are:

a. Can I resubmit the same application by using the same documents, including missing docs, and with my previous payment recipient?

b. The letter from IRCC states that they are returning my application along with the payment. Are they sending it directly to my bank, or should I submit the request letter? Or can I use the same old payment recipient when I resubmit my application?

Any input is highly appreciated!

1. You can't submit a new application with your previous receipt as the refund is in progress.
2. They're sending it directly to your bank account. You don't need to submit a refund request letter. This process can take up to 8 weeks. If you don't see your refund after 8 weeks, you can submit a request through https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/ols/login.do?&app=epay&page=viewallreceipts&lang=en
Log in with the account you used to make the payment

For more information about refunds check https://www.ircc.canada.ca/english/information/fees/refund.asp

Which documents were missing specifically?

Ohhh looks like there is some miscommunication regarding him application. I think he should send webform asap and call them and let them know that he haven’t requested any withdrawal of application.

Sure bud, what are the issues?
I am applying for PR through non- non-express entry pathway. To apply, I do have a few concerns. I would appreciate it if someone could guide me in this matter.

1. IMM - 008 SCHD 4, we need to mention the unencumbered funds, can I mentioned my annual salary in this form and upload the paystubs and employment letter. Or, do I need to mention the the funds I have in my bank account? If this is the case how much minimum funds should I need to show in my bank account along with my employment letter and paystubs?

2. While filling out the Personal History, I have overlapping between the activities. For instance, doing 2 jobs at the moment, Job A: 09/2023 - 02/2024. Job B: 10/2022 -02/2024
From 06/2023 -08/2023, I was working part-time at Job B. If I mention the information of job B, as "Job B: 10/2022 -02/2024", does it cover my gap from "06/2023 -08/2023"?

Thanks !
