No, we ended going through provincial nomination. I was invited, so we didn't have to assess her degree.

    Doctor doing ECA from WES

We tried to get ECA through MCC. The process is painfully long and expensive. She finally got her ECA, but a few weeks later MCC reached out to her saying they made a mistake and cancelled her ECA. She graduated from a regional campus of a main university. When doing the credential validation...

How long it takes from "we mailed your card" to receive it?

I received my "we mailed your card" message last week on Monday and got the PR card on Friday of the same week. I guess it depends on your location as well.

    It is Approved?!

PPR is normally an indication of approval. I guess the only reason that your visa would be denied after PPR is if you submitted wrong information (like an altered picture of your passport) that doesn't match the original passport.

PRTD or wait for PR card

You are right, PRTD is our safest option. It's already Friday so I guess we'll wait until Monday. It's too late to send the passport today anyways. If I don't have any updates by noon on Monday, we'll submit the passport for PRTD. Thanks. Thank you! Came in as a student in 2021, started OINP in...

My spouse and I received our eCoPR on August 1st. She had a flight booked for early September, so she left, and I stayed in Canada to wait for our PR cards so I could mail it to her abroad. Canada's website says the processing time is 36 days, but it has been 42 days and we haven't heard any...

PNP Nomination after EE Invitation to Apply

You can apply to both, one won't affect the other one. I've seen many people doing this. You'll just have to pay twice. Once one is approved, withdraw the other one. EE (if approved) should be way faster than PNP.
