I made a mistake when I applied for immigration. I did not mention my first marriage children in my immigration application. They were living with their mother at that time and many disputes were going on between us (me and the children's mother) after the separation. So, I couldn't obtain documents for the children, and I had to skip their information from the application as I could not provide documents.

Now they are going to university there and asking to come to Canada to study. I have questions.

1. Is there a way to solve this problem?

2. If I, as a father, am sponsoring them to study (as an international student), will it affect me?

3. If they want to apply for immigration after studying, will they get kinship points from me?

Thanks for your input and suggestions.

1. How did you get PR? There is no problem to solve. You can’t sponsor them.
2. No issue. More issue for them to get study permit since you live in Canada.
3. For PR - CRS points, no. Eligibility points -yes.

Thank you very much for your reply. I got PR as a co-applicant with my wife. She was the main applicant for a federal skilled worker program.

You need to answer the question fully. Through which immigration program? How did she apply for PR?

My wife applied for Federal Skilled Worker Class, as an experienced teacher in 2008. Her application was in process and after marriage, she added me as a family member. We got immigration in 2009. If still, I am missing some information, please let me know.

In that case you can never sponsor them for PR.

You can certainly pay for their education in Canada if they come to Canada as international students. This will not impact your PR status.

If they want to immigrate in the future, you should be aware that Express Entry points are only awarded for having siblings in Canada. So they will not get points for you. Since you failed to declare them, it's best to assume they won't be able to use your relationship to get additional points under any program.

How can I solve it or add them to the file or any other solution?

As explained above, there is no route to sponsor undeclared dependent because you immigrated via (a part of) skill worker immigration.

There is no "solution" to your problem. Except paying for their education as international students when they want to study in Canada. Then they could use their education and work experience to immigration on their own.

You cannot. You can help them get whatever education and work experience might eventually let them qualify on their own. that's it.
