    How can they determine that an applicant is not living in Canada? The applicant may provide a Canadian address and sign the application while physically present in Canada. However, they could leave the country after submitting the application.

    Yes, you are right. Regarding the interview, I have read on the forums that it is pretty straightforward. I assume they mainly want to verify that the card is in the correct hands. You might have provided an address that is either a P.O. box or a representative address—am I correct?

    You can enter Canada with your old PR card (even if it is expired) You dont need US GC..

    Updated: I received the card today. According to GCKey, it was mailed on February 26. The letter came from Sydney, so the card was printed in Nova Scotia.

    Yes, it is indeed unclear. My previous card, five years ago, was (according to GCKey) approved on May 5, mailed on May 11, and received on May 14 in Ontario. So they might have actually mailed it on May 5, not May 11 or any date in between. Definitely not after May 11, as it would be too fast...

    On the Canada Post website, inter-provincial delivery is listed as 5 business days. However, when you visit the post office, they say regular delivery can take up to 10 business days.

    Gc key account status updated and now says: Final Decesion, date, Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made....... . So what kind of update it is starting with Final Decesion but status is same, Your application is in progress.........
