Thanks, No. I used my family member's address in ON due to the fact that we live in the US but visited to submit the application and also visit due to work travel.

If you aren’t living in Canada most will not be able to send their PR card to a family member and will have to pick it up in person.

How can they determine that an applicant is not living in Canada? The applicant may provide a Canadian address and sign the application while physically present in Canada. However, they could leave the country after submitting the application.
