I received my GCMS notes, and everything seems to be in progress except for CSIS pending- Clearance pending. Security doesn't show as in progress or started. Does this mean my application will be one of those unlucky ones that get dragged for months or years?- mint-l

I also noticed the same thing and it got me a bit worried! I only have the test completed on May-30 and the rest is in progress without any finger prints requirements so I am not even sure why my background is till in progress- mint-l

why would your application be non-routine? I have similar dates and when I called IRCC, they confirmed I am still routine. I did not get the PR part, you are still a PR even if your PR card expires.- mint-l

I would apply from Canada; overseas applications usually take a long time. Many passport offices have the expedited option where you can collect the passport the next day. My spouse was applying to get his passport in 2 working days with the urgent option. You just need to show them your trip...- mint-l

Go to the oath dates website and you will see most oaths scheduled within the next few weeks. Usually, you are assigned to the office close to your area. so it could be the best guess- mint-l
