why would your application be non-routine? I have similar dates and when I called IRCC, they confirmed I am still routine. I did not get the PR part, you are still a PR even if your PR card expires.- mint-l

I would apply from Canada; overseas applications usually take a long time. Many passport offices have the expedited option where you can collect the passport the next day. My spouse was applying to get his passport in 2 working days with the urgent option. You just need to show them your trip...- mint-l

Go to the oath dates website and you will see most oaths scheduled within the next few weeks. Usually, you are assigned to the office close to your area. so it could be the best guess- mint-l

I spoke with IRCC today and found out my BG is still in process and is handled by the Vancouver office- so now I at least know the reason it is taking so long and will wait for a few more weeks before calling again.- mint-l
