    CIT = Citizenship (or Citizenship-related screening). In short: This means your security screening is or was handled by CSIS under their “CIT” category, which is a normal part of immigration background verification. Have you heard back yet?

According to my GCMS notes, my background check was initiated on June 17, 2024 — it's now been over 12 months with no update. It’s honestly disheartening. Really hoping for a positive outcome
