I have been invited to write online test between Jan 28th and Feb 17th, at the time of the invitation my online file has shown that I have been invited to the test , I have passed the test on 7th February, however when I log into my online file now, there is no more mention that I have been invited to the test the test part states : " not started" , has anybody been in this situation before? I have emailed results to myself so I have some kind of proof that I have passed.

Hi , How were you invited to retake? I have passed mine five days ago and still no update online, and when you say call in , which number do you mean ? Every time I try to reach the agents they advise that they are only dealing with priority requestsYes, I was asked to retake. They mentioned that my photo ID was 'a little blurry' but it wasn't a big issue (they understand that webcams can be potato-quality so as long as it's 'reasonably' clear and in focus, it should be fine). The main reason was, as mentioned earlier, that the little box that shows yourself while taking the test did not (in my case it was a camera icon with a red slash through it, indicating that the camera wasn't on (even though the light on my webcam was on the entire time, which is another thing).
I'd say give it a week and if the test hasn't flipped to 'Completed' by then, call in. It usually takes about 4 - 5 days for someone to validate and mark it as Completed.
I took the test on Feb 07 and tracker is still showing in progress, does it usually take this long? While I was clicking on the next tab during the test, it kept giving me a pop up which said something like 'are you back', dont remember the exact words, but what could that be about, just curious. Could that be something holding up my completed status?

An officer from the IRCC called me up one morning at about 9:30 AM and told me what had happened and to keep my eyes out for a new test invite.
As for the agents, I think it's reasonable to expect that giving a test, but not knowing if it's accepted with the test window rapidly closing constitutes a 'priority request'.
So my ‘waiting on you’ status for the test is gone but overall still showing ‘in progress’ including the test. What would that mean? Could this be a ghost update?

- Is it ok to use MacBook?
- How to make sure the webcam is on? I read that some members were told their webcam was not switched on.
- Do you see a video of yourself being recorded in the corner of the screen while taking the test?
- When taking a photo of the ID, the instructions say that we have to make sure only the photo ID and our hand are visible to the webcam and not the face. Does that man we have to move completely out of the camera or it is ok to appear behind the card?

Hello, did you pass the test? Was everything ok during the test like you weren’t kicked out camera issue etc? And which office is processing your file?
Yes, I used my MacBook Pro for the citizenship test last week (updated as completed on tracker). As a matter of fact, one can use only Chrome or Safari as the standard browser for the test.

Yes. I passed and the test was quite a breeze tbh, had no camera issues and could see myself in the corner bottom right throughout the test. However, its been 2 weeks past and I am yet to receive a completed status on my test. Mine is in Kitchener.
