Language Test Required for Provincial Nominee Program after getting PNP from BC?

I am in the process of applying for BC's Skills Immigration - International Post-Graduate stream as I soon graduate from a Master's program from an eligible school in BC in Computer Science.

This particular BC PNP program does not require submission of any language test results. However, my question is this:

After receiving the PNP nomination from BC I intend to apply for the Federal Provincial Nominee Program (now also offered online), NOT to be confused with Express Entry.

From multiple links on the IRCC websites it is not entirely clear whether I need to submit language test results for the Federal Provincial Nominee Program application for permanent residence.

Does anyone know whether I need to submit language test results for the

Provincial Nominee Program (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/provincial-nominees/application-process/paper.html)

The following links all say that those applying for NOC C or D categories ONLY need language test results. What about someone who intends to work in NOC A or B? By the way, the above described BC PNP stream does not require a job offer. It is for those who attended a graduate school program from a very select few universities in BC in STEM (Science related) graduate school programs.

Anyone with experience in this area?

Hellow! I am in the same boat as you. My language test is 5 years old and it definitely cannot be used. Did you take the test and get a new score? The thing is when I apply for it, it showed that I must submit the language test result. What did you do?

I am still waiting for PNP nomination. I have not taken any new language test yet because I still do not know whether I will really need it or not.

You said "when I apply for it". What do you mean with "it"? Where and what shows that you need a language test for the PR federal application as provincial nominee? Could you please try to be as precise as possible as it would help all others here greatly. Thank you.

Hi!

Did you apply for your PNP online? On the website when you apply for BCPNP you need to upload some required documents right? I applied online and it said the language test is required to submit.
Also, can I ask how can you still not get the nomination yet? I've heard people say they got the nomination of Post-Graduate after a few weeks submit the application. Is there something wrong?

I submitted my PNP application online on December 14. So, its been slightly longer than 1 month. I sent two emails to the PNP BC department and they checked and confirmed they received my application but have not yet started to work on it. They could not give me more information because the currently stated wait time is 3 months.

In my application it did not ask for language test results. Also, in the program description for the International Post Graduate non EE stream it does not talk about language test requirements. I am absolutely sure that we will not need a language test for this particular stream. However, my question focuses on the federal CIC application not the BC PNP one.

HI!

Yes seems it is something wrong with their website now. Also, can I ask which documents you used for your education? Is that a completion letter, official transcript, or your diploma? I only have my completion letter now, I am not sure if I can use that now.

And I think even 1 month is still a little bit longer compared with most other people's applications here? Hope you get your PNP as soon as possible! And could you please update me when you get your nomination? Thanks!

Letter of completion from the school works. Otherwise you need to upload your diploma. Transcript alone does not prove successful completion of the program. I uploaded the letter of completion along with my transcript.

Thanks! I have another question. On my PNP application website page, it only showed "Official education transcript(s)". It doesn't allow me to upload a completion letter or diploma. Should I just combine my completion letter and transcript together into a single file and then upload it there? What did you do for your document?

Yes I used a PDF merger tool and merged the official completion letter with my transcript and uploaded under section "Official Education Transcript(s)"

I am also going for the BCPNP IPG stream.
My question is, once I get nominated from BC PNP and if I have opted for the non-express entry stream, do I have to attach my degree certificate(which I will get in May 2022) or completion letter when submitting the application to IRCC. In the document checklist, it doesn't mention that, just asking if you have more clarity on this?
Also, are you just sticking to the document checklist for the Provincial Nominee Class or submitting any additional documents?

You don't need the degree certificate. You just need the BC pnp nomination letter. I won't submit additional documents.
