Thank you very much @legalfalcon
He has only UCI number , but no separate application number. He is written as “dependent “ in our application file.
However he was asked in January 2021 by IRCC to complete forms for military records, IMM5257 (this is specifically a visa form), and IMM5669, and also they asked for his renewed passport. The IRCC opened a space in my PR application to upload these forms. I hope these mean they will issue him a temporary visa.

If you have not submitted an application for a temporary visa, just because you apply for a PR visa will not entitle your dependents to get a temporary visa unless a separate application is filed.

Hi @legalfalcon,

if ircc asking for remedicals, is that a sign that your application is ready to be finalized? In my case ,they asked for remedicals only for secondary applicant.
Yes, given that all other stages are passed.

Hello all,
My March 2020 AOR story
AOR: March 8, 2020 CEC outland.
Initially applied as a single applicant with non accompanying dependents.
Later requested and paid fee for dependents to be accompanying.
Medicals and remedicals completed for all.
BIOmetrics completed.
Waiting for the final decision for past 2 years (almost).
Requested gcms : all approved, Based on other prior assessment s decision s have not been revisited.

Hoping atleast 2022 will give a decision.

Happy new year to all.

Hello,
You could apply with a proper reason and can pay fee for adding dependents.
Firstly u have to raise a webform requesting for addition.
You will receive next steps to follow...

Venting here!!

March 26 2020 CEC applicatent. I am an ICU nurse who worked through the pandemic and pass all the requirements. Married to a Canadain citizen and have a Canadian born child and still waiting on the PR!.

I am beyond frustrated!. Ppl who I know apply after me got their PR card already. My chance to be a citizen now is prolonged b\c or the dealy of PR and my job is at risk. I lost promotion at work b\c they need 3 years commitment which i don't have b\c my work visa will be expired before than. So i lost time, $$ and ability to move up in my carrier b\c of it. Beyond frustrated !!

Agent basically said be patient!!. Not sure how can I bee. It will be 2 years in less than 2 months!!.
