I just read some news that as of January 15th 2022 you will not be able to enter Canada if you are not double vaccinated 
They will only do few expemtions thought.

This is good news actually (I haven't read it all yet). I'd take this over nonsensical complete border shutdowns any day. I like their current perspective into 2022 so far. Too soon to talk though.

Well "new permanent residents" are exempted, so my guess we should be alright once we finally get our PPRs albeit with stringent testing and quarantine.
