Thanks for your response. May I ask if you know its expiration period? 6 months? I want to have it hand before ITA.
According to the IRCC website (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html)

Date the certificate was issued
For the country where you currently live

The police certificate for the country where you currently live:
  • must be issued no more than 6 months before the date you submit your application
  • must not be expired

As per there website:
Some countries put expiry dates on their police certificates. If you have a police certificate that expired, include it. We’ll accept it if:

  • it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
  • it is not for the country where you currently live

To answer your question:
The FBI PCC does not include any expiry date as far as my knowledge or at least that's how i got it.

Thanks once again. One last follow up on this. I saw somewhere on this platform that to be safe, one should go ahead and do the FBI PCC even if one hasn't stayed in the US for up to 6 months. I visited earlier this year for a little above one month. Do you think I should go ahead and do the FBI PCC?

Get the police certificates you need

You must include police certificates when you apply for permanent residence.

Our online system will ask for a police certificate for:

  • you and your family members who are 18 years or older
  • and
  • every country you (or a family member) stayed in during the last 10 years for 6 months or more in a row

Answer to your question:
Technically not required but its entirely up to you.

Personal opinion, It will unnecessary documentation, it is very clearly stated that if you have stayed more than six months. Sending PCC from FBI would reflect or may give impression to officer that you might have stayed more than six months. He might want to dive in your travel records then.

Whether your packet was delivered or not, you need to check with courier. You can check with FBI on +1 304 625 5590 regarding which date's applications are being processed right now.

Btw they were processing Oct 27th applications yesterday, so you still have to wait for around 1 month probably.
Hii, i know this is an old message. Mine was delivered 2 days back but it says Incomplete - Missing Finger print card. So I got scared. How do you know what date applications are being processed?
