Hi everyone,
I have submitted super visa applications for my mother and father as we want them to bring here to Canada to meet our first newborn baby. The application was submitted in June 2021. Biometric was completed on 3rd Aug 2021. The online application processing timeline shows that they are processing the supervisa application in 50 days as of today, but It has been over 5 months without any progress of the application.
I also submitted the Canadian MPP recommendation letter as an additional document and also followed up with email and webform to get an update on the application status last month.
It does not seem like the current Super visa applications are moving forward.
Does anyone have a similar experience or know a way to get an update on this.
I am also thinking of re-apply now. Can you guys please advise if we are supposed to withdraw the original application and re-apply for super visa like the new stream of visitor visa applications?
If anyone has reapplied or submitted new application for a super visa after 7th Sept 2021 and received the passport request please can you share your experience ?
