Assets requirements for LIMA based Visa

I am Dr. usman from Pakistan. I am Phd in agriculture and employed in a multinational company. Recently I got an opportunity to work with a agriculture company in canda. The company got LIMA approved for me. Now I have to provide them documents for work permit application. One document is regarding my assets here in pakistan to show I will come back to pakistan after my contract completion. Problem is that I dnt have any assets or fixed bank deposit. How can I prove that I will be back to pakistan after contract Completion? Any letter format to write a statement about it?

Why do you have to provide them with the documents and assets? Are company lawyers doing the application for you? Hopefully you haven’t paid them any money. Many times LMIAs are scams. You can do the application yourself and see what documents are required.

Yes, company lawyers are applying work permit for me. They dnt ask for any money till now. They said you have to prove your strong ties with your home country. How can I provide the stated proof?

You have to show your bank statements over the past 3 months. It is in the application as mandatory. Read through the link provided to see what documents are required.

Why do you need just fixed deposits? You need to show liquid funds…do you have any in your bank accounts?

But bank accounts don’t show ties to country. Bank accounts show that you have money to settle in Canada…Canada is expensive. Ties to country can be property, job when you return, family. You need to read through the work permit application. If you have Canadian company lawyers then they should know the process. Assume you haven’t given them any money and the job offers nothing except a salary (no free food, accommodations, airfare etc.).

Sorry don’t give personal information and you have your lawyers who can do all the work. You don’t need LICO for a work permit but LICO is $13,000 for one person.
