Been a month since DM. Should I contact IRCC regarding status of PPR or best to assume holiday season hold up?

That should be fine, although if it's reasonably convenient to do now, that might be better. You might find it harder to renew later or from Canada, and perhaps not a lot of buffer if your plans to settle in Canada change for whatever reason. Just as two minor examples. And if you odn't plan to travel before April, you should have time. Note, it is more of a problem to renew passport once your COPR has been issued.

(I have no knowledge of how long passport renewal takes in Pakistan though)

please advise if Pakistani passport valid 5 month 14 days is it okey to submit to VFS Whereas THE ppr is asking PASSPORT Validity as 6 month.
any past experiences please share if you submit the passport lesser than 6 month validity and visa granted ?

Is LVO working now a days ? No body getting any update since last month . You should contact regarding your status .

My family application also process in LVO they passed there medical examinations in 29nov and they are waiting for PPR I don’t know how long will take .

Yeah I think they are working but I have seen only one passport request in November. I think the hold up might be in Islamabad (processing applicant visas plus Afghan refugee visas).

i received ppr on Dec 07. Mentioned in the letter submit your passport in Islamabad visa office within 20 days. Visa is valid till January 05,2022. Is this mean i have to travel before this date? I am wondering because it is only 25 days left.
However, i have submitted my passport not yet received back and neither got COPR yet. Please advise me what to do in this situation?
