My VO is VLU / OSC - Ottawa. Just got my eCoPR today. Took 17 days to get my login credentials after first email, but only one day for eCoPR after uploading photos....clearly there is no consistency.

• What should one do if they are outside Canada (for extensive period of time), when they receive the portal email?
• Do you know of any scenario when principal applicant is outside Canada, received portal email, and was able to request IRCC to send PPR through local Visa Office?

Yes it has been shipped. They helped in submitting it to the production site and giving update when you email them

Hi, I received my Ecopr on Aug 13. I sent a mail to ircc.clientportalprairies-prairiesclientportail.ircc@cic.gc.ca asking the status of my PR card, they replied me back that my card was sent to production. What does this mean? How long will it take to get the card?

For reference when they told me this it took 6 days for the card to be approved and mailed. Good luck!

Yes, I was able to link it the same day I got eCoPR. Still waiting for address and photo to be approved.

It depends really for me it took about 3 weeks they said they sent it to production on 10 nov it was approved dec 2

Finally got PR cards today [3rd Dec]. On portal its still showing in Review with CIC but I got PR card for self + 2 Dependents

My issue date of eCoPR is Dec 3, 2021. The expiry date is April 15, 2022. Does this mean my PR will be expired on Apr 15? Why is it so short?

as per my understanding your COPR will expired on that day as proof of your status while waiting for PR card. After that day you haven’t received the card, you willneed to contact them

The expiry of the copr is based on the expiry of your medicals but it doesnt matter unless you are outside canada the card itself will expire 5 years from the day it was issued
