Hello fam, finally my tracker is updated:
Congratulations! You've been scheduled to attend your citizenship ceremony on December 8, 2021. Follow the instructions you will receive in your ceremony invitation.

I have not received the instructions yet but assume that they will email me soon.

The different responses applicants get tell you either they try to cover something, or they actually don't know anything. I am leaning for the latter. IRCC is in a complete mess. I finished the test in April, and still waiting for the oath. Someone finished the test in Sept already got the oath. Definitely it's not true it depends on the test date or even the DM date. Someone got DM on Nov 1st, and in a couple of days scheduled for the oath. I got DM on August. And we are in the same office, and both normal processing. It all boils down to the officer. How they feel and what their dominant moods are.
I don't know how to feel but seeing them scrupulously giving oath dates to all the candidates who applied in Aug/Sept 2020, is outright unfair. Frustrating to see there is no update for me after May 2021. Someone here said once, we should be thankful if 2019 applications are going to be completed at all by the end of 2022, and now I am dreading to see this is coming true.

Yes, they emailed me the instructions a week before my Oath ceremony.

That's true. However, IRCC doesn't know what fair means, and it's not their concern. They don't know that they are sending implicit messages to delayed applicants that they are less important than other applicants, which could have lasting effects on how immigrants view Canada as a whole.

Hey guys - i received my GCMS notes today - Can someone pls help me understand (if you have reviewed the notes before) which section/location should we referring to in order to understand the status/reasons for being stuck some where in the process etc., I have identified few locations
1) Under Assessments section - All categories are mentioned as Passed (i think this is same as Completed in our tracker application) - In addition, there is "Final: Granted", "Oath: Not Started" - Does this mean a decision is made on the file (Status in my tracker is "In-progress" - it's not "Decision-made" yet)
2) Under Notes section - There is a message that my app meets 5(1)d and 5(1)e (not sure what these sections are and whether i need to worry about :)), clearances are valid, no adverse info and finally "In accordance to CAN laws & regulations......Canadian citizenship is granted"

Couldn't find any info on why the wait/delay - looks like wait is a standard thing for Mississauga...so notes doesn't show that :)...any thoughts pls - thanks in-advance
I also observed that my file is moved to "GTA-CEN IRCC" from "Mississauga" and the reason was "Workload Re-distribution" - Is this Etobicoke location? Does anyone notice a change in their office location?

i woke up this morning to a nice surprise...everything has been marked as "completed" for me in the citizenship tracker (language test, physical presence, citizenship test, background verifications and prohibitions) as of nov 18 and citizenship ceremony says "not started"....the old tracker also says "decision made"

i submitted my application in oct 27 2019 and completed my test on july 5, 2021 for further details

based on experience, does anyone have an idea on when citizenship ceremony will be approximately scheduled based on these timelines?
hey guys! so i noticed another update where my oath ceremony is scheduled for march 7, 2022.....i guess its bitter sweet as atleast everything is complete but i am kinda shocked it has been scheduled close to 4 months away which is a bit of a wait....this is what the update says for anyone curious.....has anyone else had their oath ceremony scheduled so far in advance?

i applied on oct 27, 2019 and will get citizenship on march 7, 2022 which is a little over 28 months LOL

Which office are you with? I'd suggest you to contact them to see if you can get an earlier ceremony... March 7 is 4 months later...

how do i even go about asking for an earlier date? when i contact them through the web form, all i always get is a copy paste answer and i can never get to them through the phone....is there a process to ask for an earlier ceremony date?

I can definitely understand how you feel... and waiting until march seems quite strange indeed...

but at least it's done :) you know it got approved, and you know the date. No more stressing about checking trackers or wondering if there is any problem with your file or anything. You can also plan stuff now that you know the date, like foreign travel, PR renewal if needed or whatever

I long for that feeling...

Congrats! :)

Finally got update on Oath ceremony,
It is scheduled Dec 21. Anyone can advise how long it takes for citizenship certificate to come as I have travel plans for Jan 20. Will that be enough time for getting passport n all?

regards
