I called IRCC today concerning my husband file the agent told me his file is no longer in CPC Mississauga it's in Accra, I ask if he sure he said yes they don't have access I said ok and decide to call back another agent told me the same thing I really don't know how they operate because that is new to me if it's really true I'll be happy those people don't know how they are playing with our life and could cause divorce for those that can't take pressure.

Its possible. A few files from CPC-M were transferred to visa offices recently. Our file was transferred to NYVO on October 8th. Did you ask him/her when the file was sent to Accra?

Files were sent in batches, so it is most likely that your file was included in a group of files sent over. You are right to be happy that it is out of CPC-Mississauga as now you will get some movement on your file. Check online for status update, you should see something in the next few days. I sent two police clearance for my application in 2018. One for a foreign country av lived and another for my home country. I have never traveled to that foreign country since I made my application in 2018. I recently got a police clearance request from VO, my question is do I need to send VO a new police clearance from that foreign country despite the fact that av not been there since 2018. I know I needed to submit my home country police cleareance

Plz I have a challenge, since after my appeal was won. My lawyer isn't picking my calls or replying emails. He doesn't even give me any update on my application status. I'm really thinking of cancelling him as my representative. Will it have any effect on my file? Does he have any other roll to play on my application process?

I sent an email to Accra high commissioner last Thursday I wanted to be sure if they receive my file from CPM as we know Sometimes they say file transfer and it's not so, this is their reply

Please be advised that your application is in the queue for officer review, no further action is required at the moment, you will be contact once a decision is made.

Does it mean my husband file is in Accra?

I think my file is in the same situation. It was prepared to send on around Oct 7th and since then no update. So much red tape :/ I really hoped to spend this Christmas in Canada, but now it’s not enough time to finalize the app.

hello all
I am sponsor ( canadian citizen by naturalization). my baby will born in january 2022 and my wife file is in process ( PR application).
my question is if the baby will born in january and my wife file is still in process in january 2022 .. should i have to add baby in PR application or sholud i have apply for canadian passport for my babay or should i have to apply for citizenship certificate for my baby.??
please help me out. i do not know what to do,.
