How can I have access to a visa for Canada, I'm from sierra leone, during the civil war I lost track of my family. though they are no more than death has taken them away from me. I've realized that my mommy is still alive and in Canada. want to reunite with them. any help

So sorry about your situation. How old are you? And what is your mom’s status in Canada?

You are unlikely to be able to get a TRV. If your mother immigrated to Canada and is a PR or citizen she will be able to attempt to sponsor you for PR. You will need to show that she was unaware that you were alive and you had not had contact with your family in Sierra Leone before the application so she didn’t include you in her immigration application. If you are over 22 you will also have to prove that you haven’t had contact with your family members until now which is why there have been no attempts to sponsor you in the past. Given that the civil war has been over for quite some time that may be difficult to prove. You will likely need to do a DNA test proving that she is your mother.
