My boyfriend applied for his ICT work permit back in August. Here are his timelines (he applied from the Netherlands but cannot find a specific thread for this country):
Applied: Aug 20
Biometrics: Aug 25
Request for medical exam (since he is working in clinical research and I guess it was needed for that reason): sept 6
Medical done: sept 7
Medical submitted: sept 16 and approved sept 17
Nothing since then…
I’m worried because its been over a month for biometrics, and processing times for work permits in the Netherlands is 6 weeks, but people are getting their PPRs already from august applications. I think it doesn’t count as a completed application until his medical report was sent which was on sept 16. But has anyone heard anything this week for people who had completed applications September 16/17?

even my friends applied from US on 9th and 13th september, got their PPR request. I dont know what to do..it is getting really scary..

Same! I just wonder if my partner's application counted as complete since they asked him for a medical after his application. It is so unclear with how they process these applications...

exactly.. IRCC is not transparent and does not understand how does it impact mentally and all planning... they should have some clear timelines... fear of uncertainty

Hello there! We applied the Spouse Open Work Permit in the U.S. on Sep. 6th, and biometrics was done in the previous application. And we still didn't hear anything yet.... It's stressful that my husband's U.S. visa is also expiring... We have 3 more weeks of waiting time before he has to leave the U.S.

did you also apply using representative? is there a way to check application status yourself from US ?

Guys!!! My case has been approved and I just received my passport request letter today. So my complete timeline is like this:
ICT priority processing under GSS:
Application submitted on 09/15
Biometrics Instructions letter received on 09/16
Biometrics done on 09/17
Received Passport Request Letter on 10/21

I am truly grateful for everyone in this thread who shared your timelines and updates with the rest of us. Hope you will all hear about your updates soon and your moving to Canada will go smoothly!! :)

Congrats. please pray for me.. mine submitted date was 27th August and no update after that.
