I also received the ready to travel email from IRCC..

I have one question that do we have to reply to the same email or can also compose another email and send to the given email. Because my friend replied to the same email and my consultants told me to compose another email..

And one more thing is that I forgot to mention the application no. In the subject line. So, when I asked them they told me that I can also send one more email to them and this time I can reply to the same email and I can put the application no. In the subject line this time.

Warm regards
Hey what did you finally do?

God just did it, I got my PPR today. God be praised forever.... Hallelujah
Congratulations mate.
I have question what is duration of the expiry in your renewed visa?

The original was always tied to the expiry of the medicals ie one year from the date of the medicals

Are they still giving that much time or have they reduced it.

Will really appreciate a reply cause i need to plan my shift with family accordingly

My copr expired june 21 and just go the email for remeds 1 days back.

Thanks

Don't want to rain on a bunch of you optimistic people's parades but following is my situation and it's not very nice.

I am an August 2019 AOR applicant. I got my PPR in February 2020 and COPR was issued March 7, 2020. Of course due to COVID, I couldn't travel and my COPR expired in June 2020. Around November 2020, I sent IRCC a bunch of webforms enquiring about when I could travel. Finally around January 2021 they asked me to submit proof of where I will be staying and what I plan on doing once I arrive in Canada. I made an Airbnb booking in Montreal for 2 months, and sent them job openings I was eligible for and told them I'd be applying for those. After this, I got my request for second medicals which I completed in March 2021. In April 2021, the portal reflected "You have passed medicals". It has been 6 months since that message and nothing so far.

I was under the impression that with all the correspondence late last year and the second medicals, I must've been on the verge of getting my second PPR and a COPR. But nothing - they just went silent. At this rate, even the second medical will expire. Anyone here in this situation? I have sent them multiple web forms but I get generic responses about how all agents have been diverted to deal with the Afghanistan Crisis.

I never received any Still plan to immigrate to Canada email.

At a loss for how to plan life moving forward. Has anyone here actually received their second PPR? I am from India, FWIW.

I think this has more to do with the VO handling your file. I believe it would be Ottawa and they have really been the ones who are completely silent for outland applicants for the longest possible time.

Other VOs are still sending out PPRs. I got my second PPR on 4th October and my VO is Sydney, NS and I am from India!

Hang in there buddy!

I know this is extremely a delicate situation and everyone's situation is different than the next person. All I can say is, I came in with nothing to lose - If I get the PR, great - if I don't get the PR, great - my life is moving on, with my family, whether IRCC works on my application or not. I am not holding on to any career progressions or family or investments due to this.

At the end of the day, this is a program created by another country where they decide whether they want you or not. It is understandable that some people have more to lose than others but again you have to understand that Canada doesn't owe you jackshit. Luck plays a big role in these things. If you think Canada immigration is reckless, try living in the US with a work visa and try getting a green card (PR) in this timeframe (as express entry).

I empathize with you but I don't think making yourself sad is going to change anything or speed up the application process. Let things happen at their own pace. Don't lose your sleep on something that you can't control. Cheers!

If you haven't ordered GCMS notes, where can you find out your VO?

Hey Buddy, Congrats on your PPR.

What is the validity of the 2nd ppr you got. Is it tied to your medicals expiry ( as in 1 year) or have they given a much shorter interval as some were suggesting?

Also if you live in India how come your VO is sydney? is it that you are from India but you live in Australia?

I think my VO is New Delhi.

Would appreciate your help. Thanks

Keep the faith mate.

If you look around you will find worse cases....

Take mine for instance. I am June 2018 AOR...They took over 2 years to give me my PPR for no reason I could understand. I know atleast a couple of guys who have not got their first PPR for over 3 years !

All the best...it will work out in the end

There are 3 options for you to know your VO - Either through calling them, via Webform or via GCMS notes

My VO is Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia not the Sydney in Australia.

I am yet to get my passport back post stamping, but yes, the visa should be applicable till September next year as that is when I cleared my medical exams.

We will all pass through this. Just a matter of some more time & patience. We have here couple of friends who did re-medical on January and still waiting for response from IRCC. You are not alone. Just don`t lose your hope mate and keep on sharing messages here in the forum.

I think you will not receive `still wanna immigrate mail` but directly will get the PPR mail. Is your first PPR/COPR issued from NDVO? Have you sent email directly to NDVO?

One year validity would be great.

Just a request can you pls confirm the validity of the visa once you get your passport back.

Thanks

Congrats friend,
VO NS, still waiting. Remedicals done 9 months almost now.
I get mails, thank you for your patience etc etc, but no ppr mail yet. All in good time and am sure the mail is ready to be sent to us, yet waiting for the officer to hit the Send on the mail “ready for Visa”.

Remeds done 9 months and waiting. Each one gets a different kind of notification. Since u already did a remed, u wont get the ‘still plan…?’ Mail, because your application should have beeb activated again to processing state.

My advice, carry on with your life as is. Have general plans in mind and just believe that it’s happened. Let the process flow as is and leave it to the Divine to make it happen for you.

In the meantime, read the different experiences of our fellow mates rowing in similar boats here on this forum, you will read all kinds of emotions here, check your application status frequently, and updates on other media, etc.

whatever you do, dont lose hope. Stay positive. It will only happen when the time is right.
