New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

Hi Folks
1st applied for my parents on 19th May 21.
Biometrics done on 6th August 2021.
Re applied through portal on 13th September 21.
Till now no update and eligibility is also not started yet.

I am in Canada and parents are in India, anyone else with similar timeline who is in the same situation or who recently got some updates?

Facing the same issue

Same issue applying with US visa for my parents. it only starts from Sep 2011, whereas my parents old passport dates are Jan 2011, but not allowing to select Jan.

Has anyone applied with TRV along with USA Visa stamped ? My mothers US visa is stamped on her old passport but not able to enter the passport expiry date, it has only year until 2011. Any suggestions are appreciated.

No updates yet.

I had the same problem.
I clicked on "yes" same passport and added a letter explaining that it is in an expired passport (with a copy of the passport). I applied sept 25....no news yet...so i dont know if it worked!

I’m about to submit application for Visitors visa for my spouse to reunite with me in Canada .. should I indicate that a PR file haas been submitted in the letter of invitation .?

Hi,

You will need to mention your legal status in Canada and that's mandatory. However, it's up to you to let them know about your application for permanent residence.

Same situation. Applied on 17th September. Eligibility review started on 27th but no update since then.

Hello folks,
I applied for my sister's TRV in April 2021 under extended family member and selected purpose of Travel as Other and COVID-19. She completed her biometrics in July 2021 from Mumbai. There has been no update after that.
Anyone applied for extended family member's Visitor visa and have received the PPR recently? Any feedback will be really appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah they have us visa and also visited canada 2 years ago, but this year april their visa got expired so I applied in May

How much time will it take for the biometrics to get updated on IRCC portal . Also do we need to withdraw old application?
