If you have time, send an e-mail or contact Jagmeet or NDP. Only they can help us all by bringing this to light. Forty f***king thousand FSW applicant lives at stake because of a bunch of incompetent administrators.

Folks, if there is anything you need to learn from the events of the past few weeks, it is not to trust IRCC. They are shameless, incompetent, insensitive, arrogant, and a bunch of psychos. If you are still planning your life on Canadian immigration, well whatever god you pray save you.
There is no way to contact IRCC.
There is no way to get information from IRCC.
There is no way to persuade lobbyists to speak for us.
There is no way we can go back in time and stop that one sick f**ker who let the virus.
Never ever forget how IRCC treated y'all and when you land in Canada (of course we will), just make sure you spend some energy in taking down the Liberals in your constituency. Make them pay.
To be honest, we can also decide to vote by foot. Its pretty strong answer.

Australia is recruiting highly skilled folks for their GTI program : https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/visas-for-innovation/global-talent-independent-program . See if folks qualify for it and it can be an alternative. Best part? Once they invite you, you can get your visa processed in 1 month flat.

Technation UK visa. Again seeking highly skilled. If you qualify, they are happy to process your visa in 1-2 months flat. https://technation.io/visa/ . I am personally going to apply here. Edinburg is cheaper to live than Metro-BC. Who knew!

Admittedly, there will some work to get your visa underway but these are options and those who fit in them should give them a serious thought. Best way to respond to a non-responsive entity is to walk away and tell all those who care to listen.

Liberal immigration department managers alleged to make racist comments

The Government of Canada's Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship department employs managers who make bigoted derogatory remarks about others. An internal report dated June 23 and released yesterday revealing the inappropriate comments was obtained by Blacklock's Reporter.

The report, Anti-Racism Employee Focus Groups, described how the management had “an obvious internal cultural code in operation,” and described the issue as being “so deeply rooted in the organizational culture and in the values of people in power who have held it for a long time and are not likely to change.”

Liberal Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino's department held focus groups with its own employees who self-identified as black, Asian, “mixed origin” and Caucasian, the Blacklock's report said.

While employees said they liked their jobs, which they said made “disappointment and concern about racism witnessed from within all the more emotionally acute.”

Examples cited by immigration department workers, as Blacklock's reported, included:

  • referring to cubicles where Black employees worked as “the ghetto”;
  • nicknaming countries in Africa “the dirty thirty”;
  • describing Nigerians as characteristically corrupt and untrustworthy;
  • saying Mexican immigrants “just come here to collect social insurance”;
  • saying “Indigenous people are lazy”;
  • saying “if the natives wanted their land they should have just stood up.”
Other issues raised by employees included managers talking about the “physical appearance of 'Black girls'” and asking to touch black employees' hair. Another example cited was of a manager speaking to employees with Hispanic ancestry and quoting Speedy Gonzales and making “andale” jokes.

The incidents “include but are not limited to micro-aggressions ranging from well-intentioned comments with hurtful impacts to blatantly racist tropes,” the Focus Groups report said.

In the employees' opinion, they did not “believe there are currently any consequences for racism or racist behaviour at the department.”

“There seems to be no lasting accountability for those accused of racism,” the immigration workers concluded.

I think landing are those who have COPR but haven’t landed yet. Not sure how they count expired, could be they are included in that number or could be that they aren’t included in any number, because before pandemic, if your COPR expired, then tough luck. So since landing of expired is an exception, it could be they aren’t in any category.
Hmm nonetheless even in the case they aren't included, the total numbers aren't as large as what many had perceived.

How Does Canada Immigration Destroy the Mental Health of Thousands?

Samet Kasik
20 hours ago·3 min read

Today, I will answer a question asked by thousands of Canada immigration applicants depending on my observations and analysis of the current situation. What is the logic of IRCC’s* current working process?

1. There is no logic! Even the most reputable immigration lawyers with 15–20 years of experience cannot find any logic in how they work at the moment.

2. They work randomly with no systematic and no regard to procedural fairness. They just randomly process files without considering the application date.

3. They present no explanation when we ask about the current processing logic. We receive nothing more than generic emails telling us to be patient and wait.

4. They finalize PR applications made in 2021 in record times like 2–3 months while the applications made a lot earlier haven’t been touched for over 8 months.

5. An applicant who applied in July 2021 receives PR in September 2021 while thousands of people who applied before January 2021 are waiting with exhaustion!

6. When I called my MP’s office for support, their staff didn’t believe me that the recent PR applications are finalized in 2–3 months and told me it was a lie as it’s impossible!

7. Then, I requested the most update immigration statistics through ATIP and received a document from the IRCC confirming the PR applications made in 2021 had been finalized in 2–3 months.

8. In all communications, IRCC had presented the excuse of pandemic and capacity restrictions for the backlogs while they are finalizing 2021 applications in even 45 days! This processing speed is unprecedented! They are mocking with us!

9. The IRCC sent out an informative email on March 25, 2021, stating that Express Entry FSW applications are actively processed but there might be delays due to capacity restrictions that somehow don’t affect applications made in 2021.

10. The IRCC declared applications made from within Canada will be prioritized due to travel restrictions, but only the CEC applications that are submitted in 2021 are prioritized with no explanation and logic behind it.

11. There are several thousands of FSW and PNP applicants within Canada who have been completely ignored by the IRCC.

12. When we ask for information about our files through web forms, they lie about actively processing our files while the GCMS notes clearly show otherwise!

13. I applied in December 2020, and my file hasn’t been touched since January 2021. My GCMS notes clearly indicates no action since then.

14. The IRCC presented the covid as an excuse for everything about immigration while it couldn’t be an excuse for an early federal election!

15. Now, the IRCC says they switched all their resources for the Afghanistan crisis and haven’t been accepting any calls or web forms from the drained applicants who wish to learn about their application status. It’s been quite a while with no updates.

16. Thousands of applicants are stuck in a limbo with tonnes of stress jeopardizing their mental health, unable to make life decisions, unable to visit their home countries, some away from their families, some unable to work as their permits expired before they could apply! This is cruel!

17. The result is: IRCC doesn’t care about the wellbeing of the PR applicants. It only cares about reaching the immigration quotas and sees us merely as numbers rather than Canada’s future citizens.

Now, I have a couple of questions. Is this how Canada treats its prospective citizens? Is there anybody who believes this is acceptable? How long will the IRCC keep its position with such an absence of transparency, efficiency, and accountability? Anybody willing to answer these?

*IRCC: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Note: Let’s share our endless wait and experience with IRCC on Twitter with the hashtag #IRCCdoesntcare and make it a TT. As IRCC is starting a social media monitoring program, we may raise some awareness this way.

I thought all grandpas have already got their PR via CEC program this year when it dropped to 75CRS.
I don't understand how this is gonna help an already shrinking Canadian economy. Well, I really pray the Canadian government incurs a huge loss from this program.

It’s strange how immigration departments in US and Canada are full of nationalists. I guess they feel the only way to prevent change in their country is by stopping them within the organization, since they have lost the public.
