This might be a silly question but once we give the biometrics is it automatically passed or are we supposed to receive an email confirming it?

Hi,
In case if you had the same situation or experience please help me.

I got pre-AOR on the 27 of May. My wife did not work at that time and for the source of income part of the checklist, we selected option two. This option wanted us to provide a detailed explanation of how the sponsor will support the applicant. We attached our saving accounts details( Bank statements) with a detailed explanation.
Since we did not ask to provide NOA, we did not attach any.

NOW, it seems that they might send back my AP due to this. Today is 25 of SEP and I have not received any AOR. In case they send it back, Do they let us know beforehand by email or any update when I call ECAS?
Because I have to get a new Police certificate( although I did not go anywhere). I have been in Canada since the last time I got my police certification from my home country.

I know it is too much and might be confusing. Please if you had the same situation let me know what should we do?

Thank you

they send the reminder to everyone, just disregard it if you've paid the right of permanent residency fees, if not pay that. but disregard it regarding biometric/reminder if you get a request, that's different but you shouldn't get that as they've used the old results. And they used your old medical results, they're valid for 5 years (due to covid)

So I have a question, I have received what seems to be the portal invitation saying your application for permanent residence has been approved. Does this mean this was the last step? Mind I haven’t received anything about sponsor approval or approved in principle emails.

they Will send you an email with a couple of bits of info you need to provide then they’ll give you log in info to the pr portal. You should get that in a day or so. You’re almost there.
