@Nmak His visit visa still valid until his PR gets approved so technically yes but wait for more people to give you advise on that.

Hello everyone,

I received eCOPR on Aug 27 but still waiting for the card. Photo still shows as “in review” in the portal but I see that is not always accurate. The GCKey account shows application status as “Approved”. Does it mean they haven’t mailed the card yet? Would the status change to something like “Card mailed”?

Hi, when we received our pr cards, the portal was still showing ‘in review’. So don’t worry, it’s not always accurate.

Side note: my partner got his card 20 days later the ecorp (from Etobicoke) and I got mine after 30 day.

@Kate4yna you need to link your PR card application to get PR card updates.

Linking PR Card application;

1. Login into your CIC account as you usually do.

2. Reach the page where you click "Check full application status" to view your application and messages

3. But do not click on that rather click on " Add (link) your application to your account"

4. Select the "Category" from the dropdown as "Permanent Resident Card"

5. Under Application Details, from "Please select one" select "Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family Name"

6. Put your UCI as it is NO SPACES and NO HYPHES

7. Put your Family Name as on you CoPR - UPPER and LOWER CASE matter here

8. The tricky one, Place of Birth Section. Here "City/town of birth" is very very crucial. Copy it as it is on your CoPR, any commas, upper/lower case, spaces, just copy it here.

9. Select your "Country/territory of birth" from the drop down

10. Next section is pretty easy as you just select your "Date you became a permanent resident" from dropdown. This is the day you did your landing by either flagpole or landing interview

11. Put "Country of Citizenship" and "Current marital status" from dropdowns.

12. Click "Search for my application", if all the inputs are correct then it will show you that the system has found your application. You just have to click Link my application to account and it will now be shown on "View the applications you submitted" page with your Permanent Residency application.

1. Received email asking for information - Sep 7, 2021 morning
2. Received log in details for the portal - Sep 7, 2021 afternoon
3. Declared my presence in Canada, updated the address and uploaded a photo on the portal - Sep 7, 2021
4. ECOPR - Sep 9, 2021
5. VO - I don't know

Yes, it will show when it’s approved and when it was mailed to you.
Hey @Deiela im wondering if you go into the GCKey of your EE application (not the Pr card application, but the EE application itself) now does the biometric information get hidden/disappeared? This happens in my case after the Pr card application is linked.

Advice

My partner and I still waiting for ECopr since Aug 14
Our Photo + Address still in Review. But my work permit is about to expire in 3 weeks. I sent 3 emails for updates & timelines but I never get an email back from them.

It is better to apply for an extension work permit? I don't want to be out of status in 3 weeks. I don't know what to do. Please advice

1st Email PR Portal: Aug 03
Sent 3 emails before getting a respond
2nd Email: Aug 12
In review since Aug 14
Sent 3 emails this week

So I followed the steps and linked my application. The current status just says submitted and the date is the current date. So I don’t see any information as to whether the card was sent or not
