All of them are guessing so it's kind of normal that when things don't play out as expected they change their predictions.

They don't know if things played out as expected or not with their predictions. There hasn't been a draw after restrictions lifting yet. At least they should wait the first draw after that on sept 15. It's just one week away.

I don't think they'll start draws before November. They said they wanted to clear expired COPR holders by end of October. Wouldn't make sense to have draws now with Afghan Situation and massive backlog... but what do I know. Prove me wrong IRCC... prove me wrong.

you know, a good way to clear the FSW backlog is just moving resources from CEC to FSW as they should be doing...

Why they continue to give CECs special treatment is beyond me. Their already broken system is made worst by their blatant discrimination.

That has nothing to do with draws. There are not that many expired COPRs. So if they don't conduct draws, do we expect to see PNP onlys until November? That would definitely be something NEW!

Yeah, that makes sense. Just saw a March 2020 AOR outlander get PPR. The trickles may have started. FSW draw may not be far off.

Where's all the disappointment from? I guess it's well expected?

Simple fact: Sept 7 border opening = CBSA != IRCC

IRCC = 99.99...% focused on Afghan situation = see you next year (or whenever they see fit)

Any Data analyst in the house ? Also who knows about the global talent stream and how easy it is to get a job through it from here as a data analyst ?

What Afghan situation, bro?

There are hardly any applicants from that country to cause delays. If that’s the case, what about Ethiopia’s situation? Before Afghanistan, there was Hong Kong situation.
Seriously, this is so messed up because it seems the only way for IRCC to process our applications is for the world to standstill!! Covid and now political disruptions in other countries. My god!

No disrespect to Afghans, Hong Kong, and other nationalities. Just fed up with IRCC.
