They also asked for the document of my visit back home in last few years to meet her but I didn't go, so what should I say? my genuine reason was COVID and I was also in process of getting new job.

The last two queries you can answer with the geniune reason that you already mentioned they will accept it hopefully . And for the first one there must me atleast two pictures of rukhsati but you can give them the picture in which she was wearing the traditional dress i think it is red and maroon and also describe them that for certain reason ........:: you did not have The exact departure pictures....
Brother also you can ask someone in your family may be anyone have those picture in cell phones.

hopefully it will help you inshaAllah. Just to be honest while answering them!

Yes I did manage to find the pictures of rukshti from family and friends, I will send those. how many rukshti picutres you have attached if you dont mind telling?

Does this line 2 "We started processing your application on XXXX" must appear for every applicant?

My PA side has this -

  1. We received XXX application for permanent residence on February 22, 2021.
  2. We sent XXX medical instructions on July 21, 2021. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
  3. Medical results have been received.

There is no update after this.

After SA you will see ECAS Status changes from "In Process" to "Application Received" (that's when the file is received by local VO mentioned in the SA letter). Once local VO starts processing your file it will change again to "In-Process" and line 2 appear "We Started Processing your application on XXXX". Refer spreadsheet for average timeline. In my case, it took three weeks to show line 2 (2 weeks for transfer and 1 for processing)

does the verbiage under Review of Eligibility/ Background check in the GCKey account change after we get the line 2 ("We Started Processing your application on XXXX") in ECAS? or does it change automatically after getting SA?

Thanks buddy! That was helpful. I was beginning to worry why nothing is happening after they received our medical results.
